This site is community-funded. Every paid subscriber keeps the next dossier possible, keeps the next long read on the site, and keeps the whole archive in public where regular Idaho voters can find it.

Why this site exists.

A small network of donors, operators, and legislators has built an outsized grip on Idaho policy. They run their operation behind a wall of websites, PACs, and dark-money pipelines that most Idahoans have no way to trace. Nobody outside a campaign shop is documenting the whole thing in one place. This site does.

Every dossier and every investigation on IdahoExtremism.org exists because a paid subscriber made it possible.

Why this comes with risks.

The people written about on this site play rough. I’ve been the personal target of the same tactics documented here — doxxing, harassment, legal threats, coordinated attacks on my family and business. I know firsthand what it looks like when Idaho’s far-right network decides a critic needs to be silenced.

Traditional Idaho Republicans who see the network for what it is need a public record they can point to. Reporters need primary sources they can cite. Voters need to be able to check the receipts before they vote. This site is my answer.

The real cost is time.

I still work for a living. Every hour on this site is an hour away from client work — hours not billed, projects not taken, weekends that go to Idaho politics instead of my family. That’s the actual cost. Paid subscriptions are what let that time keep going into this instead of walking away and going back to full-time paid work.
